I am fundraising for brighter futures
I am taking on the Hike for Brighter Futures, an 8 day hike that takes place in a remote section of the Great Wall outside Beijing to raise money for Barnardos Australia.
Every child deserves to feel safe and have a secure upbringing. But right now in Australia, too many children are being left behind. Barnardos Australia put children and young people at the centre of everything they do. We’re there when they need us most, helping to build safer homes, stronger communities, and brighter futures. Every child. Every opportunity. Every time.

Go for it. Enjoy. Great charity. Brother Chris and I at ages around 7 and 8 were going to be taken in by Dr. Barnardo's due to family issues. Brian and Jean tried to take us in but the army would not allow it. Two neighbours decided to foster us. We were with them until 18.
